Create Your ACCPE Account

ACCPE requires all users to create an account to access courses, exams, and certificates. Your account stores course purchases, exam history, certificates, and order records.

How to Create an Account

1. Visit the registration page
 2. Complete the signup form
 3. Log into your account
 
 Once logged in, you can browse and purchase courses.

Set Your CPA Preferences

Select your state from the dropdown menu so only approved courses appear. This ensures your credits meet state requirements.

How to Take Exams Online

1. Log into your account
 2. Click 'My Exams'
 3. Click 'Take Exam'
 
 After passing, you can download and print your certificate anytime.

Certificates & Records

Certificates are stored in your account. You should download and print copies for your records.

FAQs

Does ACCPE report my grade to the IRS?

Yes, ACCPE reports EA credits to the IRS. You are still responsible for reporting your credits.

Does ACCPE report to State Boards?

No, each CPA must report their own credits.

What is the passing score?

70% for standard courses and 85% for ethics courses.

How many times can I retake an exam?

Unlimited attempts until you pass. Once passed, you cannot retake for a higher score.

How long do I have to complete a course?

You have 1 year from the purchase date.

Can I complete exams offline?

Yes, print the exam, complete it offline, and enter answers online.

Can I take the same course twice?

No, unless it has been updated with a new course number.

System requirements?

Use the latest version of Chrome, Firefox, or Internet Explorer.

What if I get an error?

Print the error and call support at (800) 394-6275, Monday–Friday, 10AM–2PM ET.

Which states do NOT accept ACCPE credits?

Arkansas, Colorado, Delaware, Florida, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, New Jersey, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Carolina, Tennessee, West Virginia.
